The team Welcome to the Area Pay and Receive Now team, an integral part of the Tribe Payments at Rabobank. Our focus is on delivering practical and secure payment solutions to our customers, both locally and globally. In our team, we handle various aspects of card services, including sales and support. This includes enabling Debit and Credit Cards from major providers such as Visa and MasterCard, as well as offering convenient options like Apple Pay and Google Pay with user-friendly onboarding processes. We take pride in providing support to both employees and customers through channels like Chat and localized bank applications. Collaboration is key for us, as we work closely with colleagues from different areas like Business, Design, Legal, and Risk to achieve our goals. Our technology stack comprises Java microservices hosted in the Cloud (Cloud Foundry / Azure), along with frontend development using Angular for our Rabo banking App. With this setup, we ensure scalability, reliability, and a smooth user experience for our customers. It is important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below: You have a relevant HBO or University education You are a Software Engineer, always interested in new technologies and pushing boundaries Technical knowledge and experience: must haves: Typescript (good understanding of features and syntax) Angular CLI (for creating, building, testing and deploying Angular applications) Frontend fundamentals: Javascript, HTML and CSS Angular components Angular Services RxJS Angular Routing and Angular Forms nice to haves: State Management (we use Angular Redux for this Basic Git Commands Git Workflow REST API Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines, Jest testing framework, good documentation skills Knowledge of payment methods is an advantage Affinity with backend work is an advantage Scrum / Agile mindset & tooling (such as Jira / Azure Boards / Azure Devops pipelines) Critical thinking and initiative: hands-on, innovative and proactive attitude Customer is king: you have an unstoppable drive to create the best solutions for our customers. Ownership and responsibility: You also test what you build and are responsible for managing the software You challenge your fellow team members, coach them & do code reviews You have experience in a large company with a complex environment You have an open and transparent working attitude that radiates confidence Communication is key: you are able to articulate (and translate) technical jargon to everyone in the team You speak and write fluent Dutch & English This is what we offer you a gross monthly salary between € 4.292,- and € 6.130,- (scale 9, 36 hours per week). 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December. an Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out. an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,- 100% reimbursem*nt of commuting costs if you travel by public transport!
