Our branches are closed today in observance of Juneteenth, now a federal holiday. Yesterday, our employee resource group, Black Leaders and Allies Cultivating Change (BLACC) hosted the second annual Juneteenth Jubilee Celebration, and we had a blast! With Immokalee located 35 miles away from downtown Naples, transportation can be a significant challenge for students. This summer, 53 students from The Immokalee Foundation (TIF) are taking part in paid internships across Southwest Florida, all of whom require reliable transportation.To support these students, we recently donated funds to the Immokalee Foundation to purchase a new 15-passenger van. This van will facilitate transportation to and from their internships. Every student deserves access to resources and opportunities, and this new vehicle will help make that possible.

Reading with the Rays is back for the 17th season! 📚⚾️ We kicked off this year’s program by throwing out the first pitch and hosting a special reading event with Rays player Jose Caballero at the Trop! Reading with the Rays—Read Your Way to the Ballpark is an incentive-based reading program that encourages Pre-K to 12th grade students to avoid summer learning loss by reading for 24 hours during the summer months.
