Disappearing pictures
Looked at my build thread today and found that most of my pictures have disappeared to be replaced by a small blue icon instead. I have no idea why this should have happened. Any suggestions?

Possibly on a photo hosting site that you don't use now? Happened to me when I changed from Photobucket.

Thanks for the reply. I've been using Photobucket from day one and posted up new pictures just recently. The pics on the first page of the thread are all there, but from page 2 onwards they have gone!

For several years I have always had all of my images in private folders and everything has worked fine, so I think the problem lies elsewhere. I have noticed quite a number people have found exactly the same problem on other forums but nobody can find the answer. The answer might be to use another picture hosting site!

Any advice or help given is actually based on having done the job, not read about doing it or Googling it.

Mine have been fine too for years Steve, until just recently, but that's what other Photobucket users have apparently been experiencing. Next step is to try a few new images to see if they work or not

The pictures have re-appeared, but I have no idea how or why they went missing in the first place!
